Compared to other neighborhoods in San Francisco, there is a higher percentage of families in Noe Valley and a fairly low number of bars and nightclubs. As a community, the residents here are very caring and supportive of each other. As far as public schools are concerned in Noe Valley, there are many options. They also have many private schools in the neighborhood, or bordering areas, such as San Domenico, National, a Marin preschool, and a Montessori school. The safety of this neighborhood is also great. The local police station is right next to the neighborhood supermarket.
