Loo With a View: Bay Area Homes With Baths We Love

What’s your favorite part of a home? For some, it’s the kitchen - the smell of freshly-baked bread and a simmering curry screams home.

For others, it’s their study nook - the best place to cozy up on a winter night with their favorite book. However, for a lot of us, it’s the bathroom - the place we get our best ideas, let our long day wash away, and also relax with bubbles, candles, and wine.

November 19th is World Toilet Day, and we decided to celebrate it with our collection of loos with a view. Check them out below!

Check out these Bay Area homes with baths we love...

1. 301 Mission Street #56D

This stunning high-floor corner condo in San Francisco features spectacular views, an open floor plan, and a bath that overlooks the city.

The tower has been named one of the top 10 residential buildings in the world by Worth Magazine.

2. 6640 Pine Needle Drive

Located in Montclair, Oakland, this luxurious home boasts open space, contemporary architecture, and a patio fit for a grand evening. But our favorite is the view from the bath. There’s nothing that a long bath overlooking nature can’t fix.

3. 110 Elsie Street

With skylight views of Twin Peaks and Noe Valley from every level of the house, the toilet couldn’t be left far behind.

This SF home also features a home office that opens to a huge, lush patio.

4. 2698 Pacific Avenue

The most expensive property on the list, this $26M classic revival mansion is a beautiful mix of old school exterior and a contemporary interior. Royal, regal, and oh-so-beautiful, there is nothing you can fault in this one, including the views from the bath.

5. 131 Wild Horse Valley Drive

Picturesque views, a grand eat-in kitchen, and a jetted private bathroom in the middle of expansive greenery, this home is ideal for someone looking for a quiet work-from-home set up.

6. 1061 Sterling Avenue

With breathtaking bridge views, and an open floor plan, this updated Mediterranean home is luxury redefined. If the deck is great for sunsets, and Bay Area views, the bath is everything you need for star-gazing while sipping on wine.

A loo with a view can be the difference between a good house, and a great one. At least, that’s what I would want to believe. If you’re somebody who loves their bath, check out our collection of homes with more baths than beds
